José Francisco Ballester, President of Amusal, participated this morning in the presentation of the report's 2009 Economic and Social Council of the Region of Murcia (CES).
Ballester focused his speech on the areas of education and health. Amusal president lamented the low number of students enrolled in vocational and warned of the expense caused by the lack of prevention against smoking and obesity.
The event was attended by President of the Autonomous Region of Murcia, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, who was critical of the measure promoted by the Central Government to increase taxes. Valcárcel stated that such action would adversely affect the consumer.
On the other hand, the CES sued to recover the activity in the construction and asked the regional government to cut its administrative staff to improve service and continue its policy of austerity.
